The ILLZ – The Appreciation
The last leak of the homie’s The ILLZ’s The Pursuit LP. The song serves as the intro to the album, outlining the struggles we all go through, as well as the drive and passion that pushes some of us to the top. The song begins with an excerpt from a pre-Reasonable Doubt Jay-Z interview, predicting his future as an artist and asking for “appreciation” of his upcoming album. The song ends with a recent interview of The ILLZ reminiscent of the same conversation Jay-Z had almost 15 years ago. “The Appreciation” will satisfy the thirsts of The ILLZ fans, as well as have skeptics wanting to hear the tracks that follow the opening of The Pursuit LP.
